Posting news is quite easy, but there is one extra step needed to post group-specific news.
News can be customised for roles, locations or departments.
A site news block is automatically added to the site.
- To add news, select Add a new topic from the Latest news block
2. Complete the settings including subject and message and choose a group then click Post to forum.
- From the course home page go to Add a block and using the drop down select Latest news
- Click on Add a new topic.
- Enter a subject and message, choose to add attachments then click on Post to forum
