Overview

Posting news is quite easy, but there is one extra step needed to post group-specific news.

News can be customised for roles, locations or departments.

Site news

A site news block is automatically added to the site.

  1. To add news, select Add a new topic from the Latest news block

2. Complete the settings including subject and message and choose a group then click Post to forum.


The Training home Group by field settings dictate what appears in the Group drop down menu.

The group by fields contents can include roles, locations or departments.


Course news

  1. From the course home page go to Add a block and using the drop down select Latest news

      

  2. Click on Add a new topic. 



  3. Enter a subject and message, choose to add attachments then click on Post to forum
