SCORM Package
The SCORM package (or SCO) is a compressed (zip) file containing the course data.
General
Almost all options have a help button - - which will display further information on that setting when selected.

Restrict answering to this time period
Not commonly used, this can prevent access to an activity to before/after a certain date, or within a window.
This is different than restricting course access, as the learner will still be able to access the course homepage, and access their grades and logs.
If a learner is restricted by these settings they can still review previous attempts, but cannot submit a new one.

If both are enabled, this sets an access window. If one or the other, then the activity is available at any time until or any time after the date set.

Grading Method |
This is only relevant for a SCORM course with multiple SCO packages within it. Can be set to count the number of completed learning objects, mark the highest grade achieved, the average grade, or the sum total of all grades. |

The highest score achievable in the course. |

Number of attempts |
Sets the number of attempts a learner can have on this course - can be set to either Unlimited or to between 1 and 6. |

Attempts Grading |
Sets how the scores for multiple attempts are assessed: Highest Attempt, Average of all attempts, First attempt, or Latest Attempt. |

Display attempt status |
Sets whether or not to show scores and grades for previous attempts on the SCORM outline page. |
|
Force completed |
If set to Yes, any attempt will be marked as Completed regardless of the progress made by the learner. |
|
Force new attempt |
If set to Yes, any time the activity is accessed a new attempt will be started regardless of the progress in the previous attempt. |
|
Lock after final attempt |
If set to Yes, then once the Number of attempts has been used then the learner cannot launch the activity - even to review their previous attempt. |

Display Package |
Can be either launched in a new window, or displayed in the current window. |

Width |
Dimension of the browser window, if the course is set to launch in a new window. |
|
Height |
Dimension of the browser window, if the course is set to launch in a new window. |

Options |
If set to launch in a new window, then some parameters of the browser window can be toggled - such as whether to allow browser navigation buttons. |
Suggest ticking ' Allow window to be resized' - different browsers may mean some content of a course would be obscured if not allowed. |
Student skip content structure page |
If the SCORM package contains multiple SCOs, then a content structure page can be displayed. Can set whether to skip or not. |

Disable preview mode |
Preview mode allows learners to view the course, without recording any answers. |

Will display the course structure on the course homepage if set to Yes. |

When the course is launched, the course structure can be shown to the side of the course, in a drop-down menu, or hidden |

Hide navigation buttons |
If the SCORM package contains multiple SCOs, then navigation buttons allow the learner to skip ahead. |

Auto-continue |
If the SCORM package contains multiple SCOs, then Auto-Continue will automatically launch the next SCO once one is completed. |

Auto-update frequency |
Sets the frequency of automatic updates from external sources. |

Restrict access

If a learner is restricted by these settings they will neither be able to submit a new attempt, or review a previous attempt.
